Prince William revealed to his fans a sweet nod to his wife Kate Middleton while offering a glimpse into his private office.
The Prince of Wales’s Instagram followers were being graced with a look inside his study in a Q&A session on the social media platform when something adorable was spotted poking out in the background.
William was sat in his office chair facing the camera as he answered questions about his Earthshot Prize initiative in 2021.
But in the background, a sweet photo of himself and the Princess of Wales released to mark their engagement in 2010 was on display.
To the right of the screen, a cute picture of the couple’s two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in their school uniforms could be seen.
Prince George was born in 2013 and Princess Charlotte was born in 2015.
They also have a second son, Prince Louis, who was born in 2018 but did not feature in the picture.
Kate and William met while studying at St Andrews and the pair later married in an extravagant ceremony in April 2011.
Prince William launched the Earthshot Prize awards 10 years later in 2021. The third instalment will be held in Singapore this November.
Each winner receives a £1million grant which goes towards their environmental work.
But a message on the Royal Foundation says that the “prize is about much more than awarding achievement”.
It adds: “It is a decade of action to convene the environmental world with funders, businesses and individuals to maximise impact and take solutions to scale, to celebrate the people and places driving change; and to inspire people all over the world to work together to repair the planet.”
William is also set to write the introduction to an “empowering and practical handbook for young changemakers who want to save the planet”, published by Hatchette’s Children Group.
