Prince William, the president of BAFTA, will attend the EE Bafta Film Awards ceremony on Sunday evening.
He usually attends the glitzy event with his wife Kate, but she will not be joining him as she continues to recover from her abdominal surgery last month.
The Prince of Wales has held two engagements since his wife’s surgery as he has been priotising her recovery and looking after their three children during half term this week.
He is expected to do more public engagements when the children are back at school from Monday.
