It is one of several behind-the-scenes images from last week’s star-studded event in Singapore.
William took to Instagram to share some relaxed black-and-white shots of the rehearsals at Mediacorp.
The snaps also show the 41-year-old future king in a more relaxed role, dressed in a casual suit and trainers.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’s Instagram account read: “Rehearsing for the @earthshotprize Awards earlier this week.”
The event was hosted by Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, while actress Cate Blanchett, former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern and Australian conservationist Robert Irwin were also there.
Earthshot was founded by William in 2020 with a 10-year mission to find ways to protect and repair the environment. Last year, the week-long gathering took place in Boston, USA. This time, five new recipients were chosen from 15 on the shortlist.
Accion Andina, GRST, WildAid Marine Program, S4S Technologies, and Boomitra were given the prestigious prize for their work in helping 1.5 million people.
They were awarded £1million each to continue looking at solutions to the climate crisis.
