Prince William ranks as Britain's most favourite royal, while King falls behind in fourth


Prince William has been ranked Britain’s most favourite royal in a new survey that reflects on how the monarchy has changed a year after Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

The YouGov poll shows that 74 percent or Britons view the heir to the throne positively, compared to 20 percent who view him negatively.

He is shortly followed by Princess Anne with a 73 percent positivity score and the Princess of Wales on 72 percent. Their negative ratings were 14 and 14 percent respectively.

King Charles ranks in fourth with 60 percent of those surveyed viewing him positively and 32 percent seeing him negatively.

Prince Edward comes in fifth, as 54 percent view him positively and just 24 percent view him negatively.
