Prince William met with cries of 'free, free Palestine' as he visits British Red Cross HQ


Prince William was met with cries of “free, free Palestine” as he visited the British Red Cross headquarters in central London this afternoon.

He arrived on Tuesday afternoon and spoke with those working to get aid into Gaza.

The Prince of Wales, 41, heard about the humanitarian efforts taking place to support those affected by the conflict in the Middle East.

Earlier on Tuesday, Prince William issued a strongly-worded statement on the conflict calling for an end to the fighting as soon as possible.

In his statement, William express his concern about the “terrible human cost of the confict” and shared that he “clings to the hope that a brighter future can be found”.
