Prince William is a 'big kid' in hilarious viral video – 'absolute best' says royal fans

Royal fans have spotted a hilarious moment between Prince William and a primary school boy. They called the Prince “the absolute best” for his gleeful gesture, comparing him to his late mum Princess Diana who was known for her humour and relatability.

Diana was a natural with children, a trait which the father of three has inherited too, often spotted chatting to his youngest royal fans during public appearances.

On May 11, 2022 at St. John’s Primary School in Port Glasgow, the 41-year-old future King was snapped sitting on the floor cross-legged, hunched over just like the children.

The Royal Watcher TikTok posted a hilarious video of the Prince in a classroom interacting with one young boy.

And just like little kiddies sharing jokes and banter in the classroom, the Prince was caught giggling at a funny comment made by a schoolboy.

William was captured asking the boy the question, “Do you enjoy school?”, to which he replied “Err, no not really?”, The Royal Watcher captioned the video.

The Prince burst into a cheeky chuckle, leaning forward with his mouth open, a super relatable gesture and a far cry from the seriousness we might expect from the monarchy.

The sight of the future King giggling at the joke sitting cross-legged on the floor delighted royal fans, who praised William’s down-to-earth nature.

The short clip has gone down a treat, amassing an incredible 711,000 likes, 63,000 saves and more than 3,000 comments. It has also been shared 63,000 times.

@theroyalgirlie commented: “How can anyone dislike William??? He’s the absolute best.” @carmelvassallo added: “Omg that laugh I love Prince William.”

@ellesspe compared the future King to his playful and fun late mother: “He looks so like his mum here! Even the reaction.”

@taba_aba commented: “I love William’s little giggle.” @ave1954 said: “Love William, he totally gets it.” @user3697405314073 added: “Sometimes he’s a big kid. Love him.”

Prince William’s school days are far behind him and now he has the task of getting his three little ones ready for school.

The royal once revealed what Princess Charlotte and Prince George argue about “most mornings”, leading to “massive fights” before the day begins.
