Prince William 'devastated' over Harry attacks and 'cannot forgive', claims royal expert

The Prince of Wales is “devastated” by the revelations in Prince Harry’s memoir and “cannot forgive” him, a royal expert has claimed. In his memoir, the Duke of Sussex claimed that Prince William was “shouting” and “really steaming” when he confronted him during a dispute in front of the then Prince Charles following the funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip, in 2021.

Elsewhere in the book, the 38-year-old claimed that a “piping hot” William injured him by pushing him onto a dog bowl on the kitchen floor of his then Nottingham Cottage home in the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019.

Speaking to Page Six, Vanity Fair’s Katie Nicholl said that the Prince of Wales and the Firm were shocked by the details that the Duke has gone into in his memoir.

She said: “William’s privately seething and devastated by what Harry has done….[the royals] have been taken aback by the level of detail and just how far Harry has gone in all of this.”

Ms Nicholl added that she felt that any form of reconciliation between the brothers would be very difficult.

She said: “It really feels like a line has been crossed.”

Friends of the Prince of Wales describe him as a “sitting duck”, saying that the future King will not respond to the accusations made in Spare.

According to The Sunday Times, Prince William’s friends have said that he will continue his silence despite the continued attacks from the Sussexes in the form of the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, last year’s Netflix documentary and now Spare.

So far, the Prince of Wales has not responded to the accusations because, according to a friend, he is not looking for revenge and is “dignified and unbelievably loyal”.
