Prince William and Princess Kate get one very unique takeaway privilege that many of the royal cousins are denied.
Like many Britons, the Prince and Princess of Wales like to enjoy the odd takeaway, with two major favourites being an Indian or Chinese takeaway.
When ordering, William and Kate have someone to pick their food up and get it delivered to their door – but other royals have to go and pick it up themselves.
Back in 2017, William and Kate told BBC Radio 1 host Scott Mills that they are “absolutely” allowed to order a takeaway.
With Kate revealing that a “curry, definitely” is her favourite, William shared that he’s “not so good with spice”.
Revealing how it gets to them, William shares that it gets picked up – but “not [by] themselves!”
Appearing on BBC Radio Five Live’s ‘That Peter Crouch Podcast’, William previously revealed that – although he’s not a fan of spice – he does enjoy a chicken masala as he is “not a vindaloo man”.
Unlike her cousin and Kate, Princess Eugenie previously revealed that they have to go and pick their food up from the Palace gates – sometimes even when wearing their pyjamas.
Speaking on the Table Manners podcast earlier this year, Eugenie said: “So last night we got a curry, which I never do.
“I never eat them! Jack and I were literally sitting for an hour on Deliveroo, like what on Earth does this mean?”
Eugenie, who is a mother to two young boys, was then asked how the drivers get into the Palace – to which she said that they actually go and pick it up.
The 34-year-old explained: “We ring down and say, ‘There’s a Deliveroo coming’, and then we’ll get in our pyjamas and drive down and go pick it up.”
Asked how much of a “schlep” it is, Eugenie explains that they could walk, but that she doesn’t “want to be in my pyjamas outside”.
When asked if they could not just deliver directly to her door, Eugenie said that that isn’t offered to her and her family.
Other members of the Royal Family are also said to enjoy a takeaway, with Queen Camilla’s being a British staple – a traditional fish and chips.
Former royal butler also one revealed that the late Princess Diana would often take Prince William and Prince Harry to McDonalds.
