Prince Louis's 'cheeky' encounter with doting royal fan on Christmas walkout laid bare

Prince Louis was described as “cheeky” by a seasoned royal fan. The younger son of Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, stole the heart of 42-year-old Gemma Clark, who had the chance to meet some of the royals attending the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church on Sunday.

Much like his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the four-year-old received a festive gnome with a red pointy hat from Ms Clark after their brief meeting during the walkabout that followed the service.

Speaking of her encounter with the Waleses, the royal well-wisher said: “I love them to bits, especially the children, the children are amazing.

“Prince Louis – I love Louis. He’s always cheeky, that Louis is, but I love him.”

Louis appeared at ease as he stopped exchanging a few words and smiles with royal fans lined up outside of the Sandringham chapel.

The royal supporter recalled the Waleses thanking her after presenting them with their presents and wishing her a “happy Christmas”.

While she had never met Prince Louis before, Ms Clark is the royal fan who received a hug from Princess Charlotte during her first-ever Christmas walkabout in 2019.

At the time, the royal fan had given the girl a pink inflatable flamingo, which clearly positively impressed the child.

Ms Clark’s royal day also included meeting King Charles – who she described as “absolutely gorgeous”.

DON’T MISS

She said: “I also met the King as well, just for a brief minute.

“The King is absolutely gorgeous, I like King Charles III, I think he’s going to be an amazing King, I really do.”

Charles led a large number of royals from Sandringham House to the nearby chapel – including Prince Andrew, who has only made a few public appearances in the past three years.

A few hours after this walkabout, the royals and the country came together to watch the first-ever Christmas broadcast by the new monarch.

Recorded at St George’s Chapel on December 13, the King’s speech focused on the value of “selfless dedication”.
