Prince Louis whispered the cutest observation to big sister Charlotte during carriage ride

Prince Louis whispered a very sweet observation to Princess Charlotte as they rode together in a carriage on the day of their grandfather King Charles’s Coronation.

Louis typically steals the show at major royal events, particularly with his balcony antics and pulling faces, however he was on his best behaviour during the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

A lip reader has now revealed what the youngster was saying to his older sister as the travelled to the Abbey last May, where thousands of people had turned up to cheer on the new King despite the wet weather.

The Daily Mail’s lip reading expert Jacqui Press claimed that Louis said “yes” to Charlotte before saying “look waving” as he waved back to the public, as he then adorably said: “Yaaay King!”

Louis and Charlotte’s older brother Prince George did not travel with the rest of his family to the Abbey as he went with the King, due to him being a Page of Honour.

Photos and videos of Charlotte and Louis during the Coronation sent royal fans wild on social media as they commented on how sweet the pair looked together.

One said: “They’re the only reason I’ve watched any of this!”, while another added: “Can’t imagine what the royal bribe is to have Louis behave today… I [love] his spirit… he already beats to his own drum.”

By the time the Royal Family appeared on the balcony at Buckingham Palace for the traditional flypast Louis was back to his old tricks, this time swaying his hands out to either side of his body, before bringing them back in to meet in the middle.

One royal watcher wrote: “The double-handed wave from a child is the truest sign they’re done & have logged out. He’s a little trooper bless [him]”, while a second joked: “Petition for this to be the new official royal wave.”

As the youngest child Louis undoubtedly gets away with his cheekiness with his parents Prince William and Princess Kate, although they have their own rules for bringing up their family.

The couple are keen to ensure their brood have as normal an upbringing as possible and have made sure to always put their children’s needs above royal duties.
