Prince Louis has a favourite food and it's so relatable – tasty dessert 'makes his day'

Prince Louis may be a royal, but he is still five years old, so likely enjoys the occasional sweet treat like other youngsters his age.

Earlier this year in May, some of the royals made a visit to 3rd Upton Scouts Hut in Slough, where the little Prince discovered a new tasty dessert.

The young boy was spotted devouring some marshmallows throughout the day like a typical five-year-old.

He also feasted on a s’more, which appeared to be made from marshmallows and melted chocolate sandwiched between two biscuits.

After “Lou bug” – as Princess Kate affectionately calls him – said thank you for the treat, he bit into it and pretended to fall into a dessert-induced daze.

Prince William noticed Louis was a big fan, exclaiming that the treat “made his day”. He added: “You won’t hear a peep out of him now.”

Louis’ smores are incredibly easy to make at home. Melt some chocolate and pour them over toasted marshmallows, before sandwiching them in between two biscuits.

Louis probably got his love of sweet things from his dad, who according to Kate, demolishes all the family’s chocolate at Easter.

When he’s not tucking into tasty s’mores, Prince Louis can be found munching on some veggies.

In a conversation with Mary Berry back in 2017, Princess Kate revealed that the family grows their own vegetables.

The Wales family grows carrots, beans and beetroot, with Kate sharing that “Louis absolutely loves beetroot”.

In the same conversation with Mary Berry, Kate shared that the family had a go at her delicious pizza dough recipe to make homemade pizzas. Perhaps Louis enjoys a beetroot-based pizza!

Prince Louis might also be a pasta fan. In February 2019, Kate visited the Lavender Primary School in London and divulged a few things about the family’s eating habits.

As reported by HELLO!, Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust said: “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her.

“They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff.”

Prince Louis was a little young at the time but likely got involved in the cooking with his parents and older siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
