Prince Harry's 'true feelings' about Princess Kate before latest message of support

Prince Harry previously revealed his “true feelings” about his sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales – just a year before her recent admission to hospital. The Princess of Wales is currently admitted after undergoing “planned” abdominal surgery last week.

Despite the surgery being a success, the royal is expected to remain in hospital for up to a fortnight before returning to Windsor to continue her recovery at home.

King Charles is also expected to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate later this week.

It has now been revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reached out – and sent their well wishes – to both King Charles and Princess Kate.

Harry is hardly on speaking terms with his brother Prince William – especially after he let slip his true feelings for Princess Kate in his memoir Spare.

Harry released Spare last January, and appeared to reveal private details about her strained relationship with his wife Meghan. The 39-year-old claimed that Kate “grimaced” when Meghan asked to borrow her lipgloss and that the pair had a disagreement after Meghan accused Kate of having “baby brain”.

Harry opened up abut his book to ITV’s Tom Bradby last year, with body language expert Judi James analysing Harry’s appearance in the televised interview – especially when speaking about his sister-in-law.

Picking up on his body language in the interview, Ms James said: “There was an air of tragedy about Harry’s body language during this long and deeply revealing interview.”

She added: “But the man we watched up to this point used conflicting body language signals that made many of his emotions still look rather raw. There was a rather robotic recitation of ‘I love my father, I love my brother, I love my family’ but when he spoke of his father he appeared close to tears.

“His account of growing up with his brother regurgitated signals of fun and loyalty and when Kate’s name was mentioned his features softened and his eyes wrinkled into an affectionate-looking eye-smile.”
