Prince Harry's 'seven-word plea' to King Charles after he ordered Frogmore eviction

Prince Harry “called his father” King Charles after he was informed he and his wife Meghan Markle had to vacate Frogmore Cottage last year and made a plea.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were given Frogmore Cottage as a wedding present by the late Queen Elizabeth but were asked to vacate it last March after the publication of Harry’s memoir, Spare.

Omid Scobie claimed in his latest book Endgame that the news left Harry so upset that he called his father and told him it would be hard for him to see his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

He said that a few days after he found out the news, the Duke called Charles and asked: “Don’t you want to see your grandchildren?” According to Scobie, the King replied with a “half-hearted declaration that they would always have ‘somewhere’ to stay.”

Now a royal commentator said that the King has hardly seen Archie since Harry and Meghan quit their royal duties and moved to the US in 202 and he has only seen Lilibet once.

Michael Cole described the lack of contact between the King and his grandchildren as “very sad”. He told GB News: “When the King asked Prince Harry and his wife to vacate Frogmore Cottage, Harry said ‘doesn’t the King want to see his grandchildren’.

“Well, the fact is he is not seeing his grandchildren. He has hardly seen Prince Archie and I am not sure he has even since Princess Lilibet more than once. It is a very sad state of affairs.”

Elsewhere, Cole slammed Prince Harry’s claims that he misses the UK and accused him and Meghan of having an “agenda” against the Royal Family.

He said: “They are spoilt, they have an agenda. That agenda is very unhelpful and hurtful to his family.”
