Prince Harry's damning message to Prince William revealed as they prepare for appearances

Prince Harry has sent a strong message to his brother Prince William as they “come together” in honour of their mother, Princess Diana.

The two Princes, who have been at odds recently, will both appear at the Diana Legacy Award event tonight at London’s Science Museum.

But the brothers won’t be in the same room for the event, with Prince Harry not even in the same building. This is because the Duke, who now lives in California, will join the event via video link.

The awards were first held in 2017 to commemorate Princess Diana on the 20th anniversary of her passing. Prince William will deliver a speech at the event and will be there in person at the Science Museum.

Prince Harry’s move not to attend the event in person appears to send a message to his brother that their disagreement is far from resolved.

Last year, the Royal brothers joined forces in a similar way for an event, making video messages while apart.

At the time, Prince Harry said: “William and I are recognising mum’s 60th birthday. Each one of us has the ability to help create a more equitable world. And the brilliant award recipients we’re honouring today are proof of that.

“They exemplify the notion when we use our voices, change really can happen. “I am reminded of the profound belief my mother held in the transformative power of young people. She recognised their unique ability to challenge the status quo and push for a more inclusive and compassionate society.

“Her legacy continues to inspire and serve as an example of how to navigate the complexities of our world today.

“And so many of the numerous challenges that we face disproportionately affect young people and, of course, their futures. And whether it’s climate change, mental well-being, or systemic injustices, the obstacles can sometimes seem overwhelming. But what gives me hope is the collective power we possess when we work together the strength in diversity of voices and perspectives that encompass it.”

The award is described on the Diana Award website as: “Established in memory of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, The Diana Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged nine-25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work.

“This is the longest-running award for young people through a retrospective nomination process only.

“We believe this is special. Young people do not work towards the award, rather they demonstrate their suitability through their actions, without any expectation of reward.”
