Prince Harry's brief Coronation trip is 'massive diss' to Royal Family

“William’s official position is that he supports his father because he is the king and it’s his Coronation,” they told the Beast.

After two months of speculation over Meghan and Harry attending the Coronation, Buckingham Palace confirmed the Duke of Sussex would attend the ceremony.

The Palace said in a statement: “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on 6 May.

“The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”

Prince Archie turns four-year-old on May 6, the same day as the Coronation. Some have speculated this to be the reason Meghan has decided to stay home.

It’s possible that Harry could even get to see his son on his birthday if he times his flights right. The Duke could potentially arrive on the evening of May 5 and fly out just after the hour-long Coronation ceremony, slated to start at 11am.

Prince Harry hasn’t been invited to join the royal procession back to Buckingham Palace and he isn’t set to appear on the palace balcony, so nothing would keep the Duke from hurrying home.

The 4.20pm flight from Heathrow lands in LAX at just before 8pm local time due to the time difference meaning he could conceivably get home before Archie’s bedtime on the young prince’s birthday.
