Upon his arrival in the UK, Prince Harry received an escort from police officers as he made his way to central London after landing at Heathrow Airport.
Meghan Markle has decided to remain in California with the couple’s two children – Prince Archie, four, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.
A source close to the Duke of Sussex confirmed that he had decided to return to the UK immediately following the news of his father’s diagnosis.
The King is known to have privately informed both of his sons’ of his diagnosis, as well as his three siblings.
Buckingham Palace have not shared any further details on the King’s condition.
Following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eviction from Frogmore Cottage last year, Harry currently doesn’t have a base in the UK.
Although it remains unknown where Harry will stay in the UK, he is expected to stay at one of the royal residences.
Prince Harry has lived in the US since 2020, shortly after he and Meghan Markle made the decision to step down from royal duties.
