Prince Harry will struggle with Coronation after he created 'deep rift' with Royal Family

Speaking to Express.co.uk royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has warned that Harry may not be trusted by any of his family due to revelations he made in Spare, with his father King Charles, stepmother Queen Consort Camilla and older brother Prince William all receiving particularly harsh criticism.

He said: “Harry will find the atmosphere alien as he and Meghan have created the deep rift which now exists between them and the royal family.

“They have been so destructive and of course he won’t be trusted. Seeing William will be very difficult, as will being with his father and stepmother. It’s his fault!

“Charles will, of course, be glad his sons will be at the Coronation but he won’t find it easy since the Sussexes have been so public and destructive in their criticism.”

Mr Fitzwilliams added that even though she decided to stay away, Meghan will likely be watching the service with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as they celebrate Archie’s fourth birthday on the same day.

He said: “Of course Meghan will watch it. She couldn’t resist. Archie’s birthday was her excuse to stay away.

“She was invited, but the scrutiny of the press would have been ferocious and the deep rift they created in the Royal Family would have made it an event she was not sorry to miss.”

With three days to go until the Coronation the rest of the family minus Harry have been pictured rehearsing for the big day in central London.

Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales were spotted arriving at Westminster Abbey with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, with Charles and Camilla naturally also in attendance.

Camilla was later seen leaving the Abbey by car with two of her grandchildren, who will serve as Pages of Honour at the Coronation.

Her grandsons Gus and Louis Lopes, Freddy Parker-Bowles, and her great-nephew Arthur Elliot will be her Pages of Honour on the day, with Prince George carrying out the same role for the King.

Almost the entire Royal Family is expected to attend Saturday’s ceremony, although most of them will have no official role.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are thought to have been given the unofficial task of looking after Harry, as he is known to be close to his cousins in spite of the family feud.

In an appearance on This Morning royal biographer Omid Scobie claimed Harry will likely be sat near them in order to avoid any awkward encounters with other family members being caught on camera.

He said: “Maybe he’s with the York girls, with Beatrice and Eugenie. People that he can have non-uncomfortable conversations with so it doesn’t look so stilted and awkward on camera.”
