Prince Harry will return for the King’s Coronation alone but Meghan Markle will refuse to “face the music”, the late Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell claims. The couple, who confirmed they had received an invite earlier this month, have yet to decide whether they will be in attendance at the service in London on May 6.
In their statement, confirming an invite has been sent, the spokesperson added: “An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”
If they do decide on attending, Mr Burrell claims that it will be “incredibly uncomfortable” for them to reunite with Harry’s family, particularly after the string of potshots fired over the past few months.
Discussing the Duchess of Sussex, he added: “I don’t think Meghan’s brave or strong enough to be there – she’d have to look in the eyes of a family she’s pushed under a bus.
He continued: “I think Harry may come alone and she’s probably told him she won’t be able to be by his side with him if he does attend.”
