Prince Harry has been urged to reach out to King Charles III and Princess Kate after they both face spells in hospital due to medical concerns.
King Charles is set to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate while the Princess of Wales is recovering in hospital having undergone abdominal surgery. A royal commentator has now urged the Duke of Sussex to reach out to his father and sister-in-law.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal expert, hopes Harry will privately reach out to his fellow royals, reports The Mirror. Although, Fitzwilliams says there is a rift in the family.
He said: “There is a very deep rift in the Royal Family. As far as anyone is aware, Harry and William aren’t speaking. It’s very unfortunate this has happened. Not only the King with an enlarged prostate but Catherine has also had an operation of some magnitude.”

Fitzwilliams believes Harry is likely to reach out. He explained: “Given the sensitivities involved, it is hoped some approach would be made by Harry but the best thing, and the only thing, would be a quiet or private approach. So basically we don’t hear.”
Tenions reportedly rose among the royals after Harry and Meghan released their Netflix documentary while the duke released his memoir Spare at the start of last year. However, he is said to have been working to bridge the divide having wished his father happy birthday.
This week it was revealed Princess Kate is recovering at the London Clinic where she is expected to spend the next two weeks as she heals from a abdominal surgery. The princess underwent the planned procedure Tuesday but is expected to stay in the private clinic for 10-14 days before returning to her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.
She has cancelled all of her engagements until Easter. King Charles meanwhile will be undergoing a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate next week, according to an announcement made by Buckingham Palace.
