Prince Harry 'should be celebrated' as he's urged to focus on new Netflix documentary

Prince Harry “should be celebrated” as he starts to make new content that isn’t focused on Royal Family “drama”, suggests a royal expert.

Russell Myers, Royal Editor at the Daily Mirror said he thinks the Duke of Sussex could secure more popularity by continuing to be involved in creating material like his upcoming Netflix documentary about the Invictus Games.

Talking with True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat about the popularity of the different Royals, he said: “He should be celebrated [for creating the Invictus community]. Something like this [documentary] is going to move him away from the drama.

“Certainly, the family won’t forget, but I think that this puts him definitely in a different sphere of what people should be celebrating him for.”

He added: “I think the Heart of Invictus could do a lot of good for Prince Harry and, more importantly, a lot of good for these charities.”

Harry’s first major solo documentary project, the Heart of Invictus docuseries, will go live on August 30.

The concept has already seen Prince Harry receive a positive appraisal from the public and commentators alike.

The docuseries will centre around the injured and sick servicemen and women who participate in Prince Harry’s multi-sport event, The Invictus Games.

Entertainment expert Mark Boardman said the documentary “seems like a definite step in the right direction,” NewsWeek reported.

He added: “And it will help make his path clear as to the direction he needs to take on future projects, both on his own and with his wife, Meghan.”

Mr Myers believes the docuseries could be beneficial not just to Harry but also to the charities linked to the Invictus community.

He said: “I think the Heart of Invictus could do a lot of good for Prince Harry and, more importantly, a lot of good for these charities.”
