Prince Harry shares adorable Prince Archie pic in rare glimpse during new Netflix doc

An adorable picture of Prince Archie can be seen in the background of a scene in the Duke of Sussex’s new Netflix documentary.

Prince Harry’s new Heart of Invictus docuseries dropped on the streaming platform on August 30.

It follows a “group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe: service members who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses on their road to the Invictus Games”.

While this is the main focus of the programme, Harry is an executive producer and offers a peek into his own life.

In one scene, Harry is shown on a video call. Observant fans noticed that cameramen captured a photo of the Duke’s son, Prince Archie, displayed on the proud dad’s desk.

The picture appears slightly out of focus but offers a rare glimpse into how quickly the Sussex’s children are growing up.

Archie appears to be wearing grey jeans, a dark blue jumper, white trainers and is holding a toy in the deskside pic. The letter A is also imprinted on the front of the picture.

Harry refers to his young son in another scene in the documentary.

He said: “When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it’s an astronaut, other days it’s a pilot.

“But what i remind him is that no matter what you want to be when you grow up, its your character that matters most and nothing would make me and his mum prouder than the character of what we see before us today… you.”

The Invictus project is part of Harry and Meghan’s multimillion-pound deal with the streaming service. The couple’s Archewell Productions first announced the series in April 2021.

Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014 to give injured, sick and wounded veterans the opportunity to compete in sports.

But royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, who has watched Heart of Invictus, told Daily Express US that the five-part series is “too long”.

He said: “Heart of Invictus’ credentials are impeccable, but if you want to trail an event to a worldwide audience, my advice would have been to ‘go short with an hour or two’.

“You could tell plenty of inspiring stories in that time – not in the same depth – but this is too long.”
