Prince Harry 'ready to move past' royal feud but Prince William 'refuses to talk'

Prince Harry is reportedly “ready to move on” from any rift between himself and his older brother William who a new bombsell book claims “refuses even to properly talk with him”.

Royal author Omid Scobie’s rampage through the lives of the Princes continues with his latest book Endgame that has detailed one claimed version of events between the brothers during the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Recalling the day the Queen died on September 8 last year in Balmoral, the book alleges William ignored contact from Harry asking about how Royals were getting to her bedside at the Scottish estate.

The further allegations made in another book connected to the Duke of Sussex have reportedly sparked fury with one Royal insider telling the Mirror: “It appears no matter what happens behind closed doors, even in a time of such pain and grief, that where the Royal Family are concerned it will one day emerge.

“Nothing is off limits with William and Kate appearing to be this author’s number one target. It only takes a few months for the knives to come out again and the wounds to be opened up.”

Endgame claims Prince Harry was also snubbed from a family gathering at Birkhall, Aberdeenshire, on the night the Queen died on September 8.

It states: “William says he no longer even recognises his own brother, a source said.”

And the book claims the Prince “refuses to even properly talk with” Harry.

But Prince Harry is quoted as saying: “I’m ready to move on past it. Whether we get an apology or accountability, who knows? Who really cares at this point?”

But despite Prince Harry’s reported wish to “move on” the writer Mr Scobie has said there is “no going back” in the relationship between the pair.

The journalist, ahead of the publication of his new book Endgame which is due out on November 28, told People magazine that William sees Harry as a “defector”, and some in the institution view him as a “threat to the Crown”.

Mr Scobie said that “absolutely nothing” has changed in the brothers’ rift since the release of Harry’s autobiography Spare at the start of the year, although there is now an element of indifference.

The writer claims heir to the throne William is prioritising his loyalty to the Crown and quietly co-operating with the UK press to undermine Harry, People magazine reported.
