Prince Harry 'ready to forget' row with Royal Family but Meghan 'refuses' to return to UK

Prince Harry is reportedly “ready to forget” his ongoing feud with the Royal Family in a bid for reconciliation before Christmas, according to French publication sharing extracts from Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame.

The Prince allegedly said: “I’m ready to forget. Get an apology or explanation? At this point, who cares, right?” regarding the family row after he stepped down as a senior working royal.

Earlier this year, Harry expressed hope that his family would understand Meghan’s struggles within the Royal Family, leading to their departure from the Royal Family.

It’s claimed that Harry has accepted that he may never find common ground with his family, especially his brother who refuses to discuss it. As per Paris Match, Harry is quoted as saying he is “ready to forget”.

The book ‘Endgame’ reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, parents to four-year-old Archie and two-year-old Lilibet, keep King Charles III in the loop about their family life by sending him snaps of the kids.

After a friendly phone chat between Harry and his dad last week, there’s been speculation that this could be a step towards mending their relationship.

However, despite these positive signs, Omid Scobie, author of ‘Finding Freedom’ and ‘Endgame’, has suggested that Meghan “never wants to set foot again in England”.

Scobie, often seen as Meghan’s spokesperson, says the Duchess never really felt at home in England, even though there are rumours she wouldn’t say no to a Christmas invite to Sandringham.

A source recently told The Times: “I can’t imagine the Sussexes would decline an invitation to spend time with His Majesty. As of yet, there have not been any invitations for the holidays.”

This all comes as the couple try to break into the media industry in America, with their Netflix and Spotify deals to name a few.

It’s clear they’re trying to make names for themselves across the pond and separate themselves from their pasts as members of the Royal Family, but it’s being said that some part of Harry still wants to mend that broken relationship.
