Prince Harry 'putting pressure' on Meghan Markle to return to UK

Prince Harry is reportedly putting “pressure” on Meghan Markle to return to the UK for the Invictus Games, causing some ‘tension’ in their marriage, according to a Royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex is set to host an event in Britain this year to mark the 10th anniversary of the games, which support wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn told The Mirror that Harry is “putting pressure” on Meghan to accompany him at the event.

However, Meghan may not be eager to return to the UK as it was previously claimed that she “never felt at home” here. Royal author Omid Scobie, often referred to as the Sussex’s ‘mouthpiece’, wrote in his book Endgame last year that Meghan “never wants to set foot again in England”.

But Quinn believes Harry won’t accept a refusal and even Meghan is starting to understand that one “should never say never”.

Scobie also spoke about the couple’s marriage in the run-up to his book’s release. Speaking on the Something To Talk About podcast, Omid addressed rumours of trouble in Meghan and Harry’s marriage.

He said that sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex told him they “continue to be happy and in a good place”.
