Prince Harry may face another schedule clash on Coronation day as King awaits his response

Prince Harry faces yet another schedule clash ahead of King Charles’s Coronation on May 6 as rumours swirl as to whether or not he will attend the ceremony. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s eldest child Archie will celebrate his fourth birthday on the same day that Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort, will be crowned. But there is also another clash for Harry as his polo team are due to play two matches in California.

Buckingham Palace staff are said to be none the wiser as to whether Harry and Meghan will show up to the Coronation.

Those in charge of seating arrangements, transport and security for members of the family are unable to sign off plans without a confirmed guest list.

It has been suggested that Harry is in a “predicament” about whether he should attend.

And with his busy polo schedule, it is another added clash for the monarch’s son who has not come face to face with his family since his memoir Spare was released.

Harry is a big fan of the sport and is part of the ‘Los Padres’ team at the Santa Barbara polo club in California.

A tournament is taking place on the weekend of the Coronation, with matches on May 5 and 7.

His four-man team will have to find a substitute if he is unable to attend the event.

If Harry did want to play, it is possible he could fly over to London after the match on May 5 and jet back for the May 7 game but this seems unlikely.
