Prince Harry is feeling 'lonely, friendless and deserted' after US move with Meghan Markle

Prince Harry is feeling very “lonely, friendless and deserted” in the US, a PR expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex moved to Montecito, California, after he and his wife Meghan Markle quit their royal duties in early 2020.

GoUp’s PR expert Edward Coram-James suggested that Prince Harry has been receiving “bad advice” since his departure from the Firm and struggles to see how to get out of the “storm” surrounding him.

He told Express.co.uk: “When you’re in the middle of the storm, it’s often incredibly hard to see which way is up. “And that’s when mistakes are made.

“If, at the moment when you’re discombobulated and going through the wringer, the only advice that you’re getting is bad advice, you’re going to be inclined to take that bad advice.”

The PR expert added that the duke has been left feeling “lonely” and “deserted” by the “entourages” that have been offering him “such bad advice”.

He explained: “I fear that Harry may be feeling very lonely and friendless, and deserted by the fawning entourages that have offered him such bad advice in the first place.

“The Brits have a great many flaws, and the Americans have a great many admirable attributes.

“This sounds like it’s stepping out of the realm of crisis communications and into the realm of psychology. But, it’s really not.

Such a key part of crisis communications is making sure that the principal is surrounded by trustworthy, honest and accountable people that are able to give them a rounded and circumspect view.”

Elsewhere, Coram-James said there is still one thing that Harry can do to salvage his damaged image since leaving the Royal Family.

He suggested that the duke should follow a solo path instead of being one brand with Meghan Markle.
