Prince Harry grins with volunteers at Invictus Games – after marking Queen's death alone

A picture of Prince Harry meeting some of the Invictus Games volunteers has been released, with just hours to go before the Games begin in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The circulating image shows Harry grinning as he proudly stands alongside some of the volunteers gearing up to welcome the Games later on this evening, September 9.

This comes after Harry was pictured marking the first anniversary of the late Queen’s death alone in Windsor.

Just a short while before he travelled to Germany, Prince Harry was photographed exiting the King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The former working royal portrayed a lonely figure as he paid his repects to his beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
