Prince Harry delivers heartfelt gesture for James Corden in unseen The Late Late Show clip

In footage taken from the filming of the final episode, Harry can be seen dropping into the production studio and offering to lend a hand to the crew.

He asked after everyone and even fetched a drink for the show’s executive producer Ben Winston while he was hard at work.

The producer replied “Brilliant, thank you” as the Duke gave him a comforting pat on the back.

Dressed in a grey suit and black T-shirt Harry also held onto a rather fancy-looking drink as he observed proceedings.

The Duke has filmed a few segments for James’ shows and even thanked him for his “unwavering friendship and support” in the acknowledgements section of his memoir, Spare.

James in turn has praised Harry for being a “devoted and loving husband” and said his experiences with the Sussexes have been “nothing but positive”.

In an interview with The Sun, James said: “I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for Harry, and anyone who has been around him and spent time with him would feel exactly the same way.

“I think he is a devoted and loving husband and father and I think what they have done [in turning away from royal life] is incredibly brave and I’ll always be in their corner.

“I have nothing but admiration and respect for them. I think it’s impossible to judge any of it really.”

Harry and Meghan made the decision to step down as working royals in 2020, however, it seems Harry was considering a move away from royal life well before he ever met his future wife.

In a recently unearthed interview from 2017, the Duke shared his desire to shrug off his privileged life as a young and directionless man, however, he made the decision to stay out of loyalty to Queen Elizabeth.

His charity work also inspired him to keep working as a royal, a legacy that he and Meghan are passionate about continuing through their Archewell Foundation.
