Prince Harry looked like an “excited child at Xmas” as he watched Lionel Messi play for his team Inter Miami in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Harry was sat clutching a black and gold Los Angeles FC scarf happily taking in the game at the BMO Stadium, although his wife Meghan Markle was not seen with him.
In a clip posted on X, formerly Twitter, the Duke is seen smiling and laughing with a friend as he scrunches the scarf up in his hands excitedly.
Body language expert Judi James told Express.co.uk her thoughts on the clip, with Harry seeming to be “at his happiest” at the match.
She said: “Harry looks like an excited child here. The speed and the type of movement he uses as he ruffles his scarf suggests the kind of impatient anticipation that builds up close to Xmas.”

“His grin displays the lower teeth and he’s being very sociable with his rituals of excitement, appearing to call to someone else in front to share the fun.
“He’s bouncing in his seat and clearly well inside his comfort zone here, with this intense grinning making him look almost at his happiest and least inhibited as he watches a man who might well be one of his sporting heroes.”
Other famous attendees at the game included actors Jason Sudeikis, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Ferrell, as well as David Beckham, who co-owns Inter Miami.
Harry is a known sport lover, having played football and rugby while a student at Eton College, an experience he discussed in his autobiography Spare.
He recalled: “I played every dry sport, though rugby captured my heart. Beautiful game, plus a good excuse to run into stuff very hard.
“Rugby let me indulge my rage. I simply didn’t feel pain the way other boys did, which made me scary on a pitch.”
The Duke’s greatest sporting achievement is arguably the Invictus Games, a competitive tournament for injured and ill veterans, which this year will be held in Düsseldorf in Germany.
Harry will be travelling to Germany for the start of the Games on September 9, however he will be in London just before to appear at the WellChild Awards on September 7.
Despite being in close proximity to many of his family members it is not thought he will see any of them, as he remains estranged from the royals.
