Prince Harry arrives at Heathrow less than 24 hours after arriving in UK to see King

Prince Harry has arrived at London’s Heathrow airport less than 24 hours after he rushed from LA to meet with his father following King Charles’s shock cancer diagnosis.

He touched down on UK soil on Tuesday afternoon, without Meghan Markle and their children, less than 24 hours after the announcement about the King’s health was made to the nation by Buckingham Palace.

Harry is understood to have wanted to come straight to London after hearing of his father’s diagnosis, but waited until the Palace had made the news public.

He hopped on a plane at LAX airport on Monday evening – having waited for the news to break at 6pm – and was pictured arriving at London’s Heathrow around 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Two black SUVs, which were seen leaving Heathrow Airport’s VIP Windsor Suite were then pictured arriving at Clarence House, the King’s London residence, at around 2.42pm.

Harry then met with his father for the first time since the Coronation in May, and they are understood to have chatted for about 45 minutes.
