Prince Harry applauded for decision over Royal Family health scares: 'Not the place'

Prince Harry has been applauded for not mentioning any of the recent Royal Family health troubles during his recent public appearance.

The Duke made no allusion to King Charles and Princess Kate’s health issues during his induction into the Living Legends of Aviation Hall of Fame – a move seen as tactful by royal experts.

The same week Charles and Kate released statements about their respective surgeries, Harry headed to Beverly Hills, California to collect the honour.

Professor Pauline MacLaran, Brooke Siffrinn and Kinsey Schofield told Daily Express US it wasn’t the time nor the place for Harry to address family concerns.

Professor MacLaran, author of Royal Fever: The British Monarchy in Consumer Culture, said: “I think it would have been inappropriate for him to have addressed the health issues at the award event.

Brooke Siffrinn, Even the Royals co-host, added: “He made the right choice not to mention King Charles and Princess Kate’s health issues.”

Kinsey Schofield, To Do For Daily host, labelled it a “cheap award show,” adding: “Not really the venue.”

When collecting the award on Friday, Harry made some light-hearted jokes involving the royals, but that was the only mention of The Firm.
