Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'must prove their worth' to 'warrant fame' in 2024

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must “prove their worth” in 2024 – especially if they wish to avoid spiralling.

2023 has certainly proved anything but smooth saling for Harry and Meghan and, according to PR expert Nick Ede, haven’t done anything spectacular to “warrant their fame” as of yet.

Speaking of what the couple may need to concentrate on in the new year, Mr Ede told the Daily Mail that the couple need to use the new year to “prove their worth”.

According to TalkTV’s latest video, which provided fans with a round-up of Meghan and Harry’s 2023, American journalist Kinsey Schofield spoke of Mr Ede’s comments.

She said: “…as PR expert Nick Ede told the Daily Mail, Harry and Meghan have a lot of work to do in 2024.

“He says the Duke and Duchess [of Sussex] haven’t proven their worth.

“They haven’t won any Oscars or Emmys or written screenplays, they’ve done nothing to warrant their fame they think they deserve [and] that’s the biggest problem he said.”

Like many, other royal experts have been commenting on what Meghan and Harry’s 2023 has looked like – and what 2024 could have in store for them.

Speaking on Sky News Australia, the Daily Mirror’s Royal Editor Russell Myers gave his scathing assessment of the couple’s behaviour over the last 12 months.

He said: “What has happened with Harry and Meghan has been an absolute bonfire.

“Not only trashing their reputations but their relationships with the Royal Family.”

Mr Myers also highlighted Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare – which was released in January 2023 – as a key moment and a “lowlight” for the pair.

In keeping with Mr Ede’s comments, the pair are reportedly looking at providing a comeback.

Showbiz journalist Mark Boardman recently told Express US that Meghan and Harry are “actively shaping their narrative” and “ertainly not waiting” for something to come along.

He added that they will be “inundated with various offers” and that these are in “addition to being receipt an array of collaborations to speaking engagements that all would equate to a full-time role.”

To conclude, he said that 2024 looks likely to be a “more positive year” for the pair.
