Prince Harry and Meghan Markle jet off to Costa Rica with children for winter holiday

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have jetted off to Costa Rica with their two children for a winter holiday.

The couple was reportedly spotted walking through the paradise destination and riding in a golf cart on December 14.

Harry and Meghan apparently spent much of their trip relaxing at scenic Playa Carrillo in the Guanacaste province, complete with beautiful beaches and world-class resorts.

The pair departed from Costa Rica on Wednesday.

Meghan was seen wearing a large straw hat, a black dress, and white trainers as she carried two-year-old Lilibet through a rainforest.

Another photo shows Harry and Meghan sitting inside a golf cart while their son Archie, 4, sits on his father’s lap.

The pair are not the first celebrities to visit Costa Rica in recent months – superstar Shakira, comedian Kevin Hart, and actress Jane Seymour have all made trips to the country.

Harry and Meghan’s holiday in the sun comes amid reports that they will not be attending the royal Christmas at Sandringham this year. They are instead expected to stay in the US with their children.

The Royal Family’s celebration will be attended by senior members of the family, as well as Queen Camilla’s relatives, including her children, grandchildren, and sister.

Many hoped King Charles and his youngest son would be able to ease their differences this Christmas, but it looks like the Sussexes will be absent this year.

Harry and Meghan were seen in the island of Canouan in St. Vincent and the Grenadines a few months ago, following a week spent in New York City promoting mental health projects.
