Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 'strong place' as expert spots key sign of romance

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be in a “strong place” as the pair showcased a loved-up display during their latest public appearance.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out at the film premiere for Bob Marley: One Love in Jamaica on Tuesday evening.

The couple surprised fans with their appearance, especially after Meghan was a no-show at a Beverley Hills-based event with Prince Harry last week. The pair are thought to have flown out to Jamaica without their two children in tow.

The couple appeared to showcase their “strong” relationship on Tuesday.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, body language expert Darren Stanton analysed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s appearance in Jamaica yesterday.

Mr Stanton said: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared very tight and completely united while attending the One Love premiere yesterday.

“The way they were holding hands was quite significant and it was the first thing I noticed.”

Speaking of this loving gesture, he added: “It wasn’t just simply holding hands, but they had their fingers interlocked into each other, which is a really tight way of showing a connection.”

Discussing this in comparison to some of their other recent appearances – such as the 2023 Invictus Games back in September – he added: “In recent months, the pair haven’t displayed as tight or open of a connection in terms of PDA, however this couldn’t be more different.

“This proves to me that they’re both in a really strong place and feel totally synchronised with each other.”

The couple’s visit to Jamaica marked a return trip to the island nation for them after they had enjoyed a trip to Montego Bay before their engagement in 2017.

Speaking to Express US, body language expert Judi James also analysed the couple’s loved-up display.

Ms James suggested that Meghan has subtly hinted that Harry is “hers” with one gesture.

She said: “She also placed her right hand on Harry’s torso with the fingers pointing upward.

“This flattened hand gesture with the smile to cameras will be usually used to signal ‘he’s mine’, suggesting she wants to show the power couple aspect of their relationship is very strong.”
