Prince Harry and Meghan Markle facing 'tensions' over different views on earning money

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be experiencing “tension” in their marriage because they have different opinions on several matters, royal experts have warned.

The pair quit their royal duties in 2020 and moved to the States where they are raising their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Ever since then, they’ve explored a number of ventures, including securing a lucrative but shortlived deal with Spotify, a Netflix contract as well as publishing Harry’s memoir, Spare.

But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to be having different opinions in their search for new avenues to boost their income, as Meghan is “enjoying” her celebrity status in the US while Harry would much rather focus on his charity work, according to reports.

A source told Woman Magazine: “There’s very much a feeling that Harry wants to concentrate on charity work and his family, while Meghan is much more concentrated on moving her brand forward.”

They added the Duchess of Sussex wants to further boost her own appearance while her husband is less interested in sharing more royal details.

It comes as recent reports suggested the Duke misses the UK and is looking to buy a house here whereas Meghan has no desire to return to England.

Sources told Woman that “Harry loves his wife and children, he is happy but he really misses the UK”.

Royal biographer Emily Andrews said that in the UK, Meghan was “unable to control her image” but in America she is “enjoying being a celebrity”.

Relationship expert and co-founder of So Syncd, Louella Alderson told the Mirror that “it’s understandable that there may be some tension between Harry and Meghan over their Christmas plans”.

She added: “They have spent the past three Christmases away from Britain, so it’s possible that Harry may feel a sense of nostalgia and want to return to his home country for the holiday.”
