Prince Harry and Meghan Markle facing 'real trouble' with Royals after latest PR blunder

Now GB News’ royal correspondent Cameron Walker claimed with this move, the Sussexes showed they “are clearly still wanting to use that royal connection, which could prove a bit of a problem for them”.

When they left the Royal Family in 2020, Harry and Meghan made an agreement with Buckingham Palace that they would not use their HRH titles and the word “royal” to advertise themselves.

The website they created at the time – Sussex Royal – was also banned from use.

Walker went on to quote a source, who recently told the Mail the Sussexes’s latest move could get them into “real trouble” if there is a hint of commercialism.

The insider told the publication: “They are going to have real trouble with the use of Sussex.

“It is a royal title and if there is any hint of commercialism about this it will be shut down. It’s just staggering they cannot see how gauche it is.”

Walker added that whilst the couple agreed to not use the word “royal” commercially, they didn’t agree on the word “Sussex”.

He said: “I’m suspecting it’s going to come down to the interpretation of the word royal or something around royal.”
