Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'ditching poor me brand so that the money doesn’t dry up'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now said to be rebranding themselves after learning that the “poor me” narrative is not going to make them sufficient money, according to a columnist.

Writing in The Sun, Jane Moore listed the many different iterations of the Sussexes that have existed as they try to find a way to financially support themselves after quitting the Royal Family.

She explained how they initially portrayed themselves as “persecuted lovers who fled the wicked royal kingdom in the pursuit of a happier life”.

This was before they moved on to “misunderstood Harry whose angelic wife was his rock after his dreadful family ostracised him”, while recently they have focused on their philanthropic efforts and trying to save the planet.

Ms Moore pointed out that July’s issue of Rolling Stone printed the headline ‘Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are in their flop era’, suggesting their attempts to establish themselves in the US are not working out quite as well as they had hoped.
