Prince Harry and Meghan Markle desperate to prove 'brand is stronger than ever'

For Brand Sussex 2024 is going to be a big year. Prince Harry and Meghan have suffered an array of PR setbacks in 2023 – from the fallout following the release of Harry’s memoir Spare through to a £9m drop in donations to their treasured charity Archewell.

But the image the pair chose for their festive greeting attempts to prove their brand is “stronger than ever” as we approach a new year – at least according to body language specialist Darren Stanton.

Speaking to OK! he said that the pair were keen to show off their Hollywood credentials by choosing an image that puts them in a “glitzy setting”. He said: “The picture shows an enthusiastic-looking Meghan and Harry in a glitzy setting.

“It’s a good way of promoting their charity and putting them in a positive frame, as they both look happy to be there,”.

It may have been an attempt to shrug off The Hollywood Reporter’s “biggest losers” title – and it also shows that they’re trying harder than ever to show their brand is intact, says Darren.

He said: “They appear completely excited, enthusiastic and hopeful of the year ahead in terms of new projects and working on the Invictus Games again.”

He added: “They’re trying to convey that their brand is strong, if not stronger than ever.” And according to one insider Darren’s prognosis could be correct – as they said the pair are on the comeback trail and are in the midst of planning a “total system reboot”.

“They know of their supposed failures and how it’s viewed, but they have almost gone more tech than Hollywood. Fail big and all that,” reports People.

“They have swapped in and out all sorts of projects and people and are embarking on a total system reboot.”
