There may be a way for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to reconcile with Prince William and Princess Kate – but it will require both sides to “put their egos to the side”, a royal expert has said.
On his most recent visit to the UK to see King Charles following his cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry made no plans to see his estranged brother, with them reportedly not speaking to each other since King Charles’s Coronation ceremony in May 2023.
Royal commentator Pandora Forsyth was hopeful that one day there “will be” a reuniting of the royal foursome, but highlighted Meghan and Kate will also need to reconcile their differences. Speaking to GB News America, she urged the royal couples to “put their egos to the side”.
She explained: “Everybody needs to put their egos to the side, and really do what’s best for the monarchy. Can I see that happening? Can I see the forgiveness happening? I just can’t see it happening.”
The commentator added the Waleses “must find it extremely frustrating” not to be able to give their side of the story amid a series of claims by Harry and Meghan in various media appearances since their exit from the Royal Family.
