Prince Harry is “under pressure” from his wife Meghan Markle to keep his relationship with the Royal Family going and wants to return to the royal fold, an expert has claimed.
Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex broke with the Firm in 2020, royal relations have soured, particularly following the release of Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir Spare.
Now, however, Meghan Markle is said to be pushing her husband to keep some kind of relationship with the Royal Family while Harry aims to return to the royal fold – with Meghan – in a part-time capacity.
Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn opined: “Harry is under pressure to keep some sort of relationship with his family going if only for the sake of the couples’ new ventures. Harry still has vague hopes that he will be forgiven and will be offered a minor role somewhere.”
He added: “Harry will really make huge efforts to build bridges with his brother and be allowed to be the part-time royal (with Meghan) that he wants to be. But if palace officials have their way, it will never happen.”
