The Duke of Edinburgh has arrived to officially open the Shakespeare North Playhouse in Prescot, Liverpool. Prince Edward was greeted by local dignitaries outside the venue before being shown around the £38 million project. Liverpool Echo reports that the Prince was greeted by crowds patiently waiting outside for his arrival.
