Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could be set for a reunion with the Royal Family in the coming months – having spent the vast majority of their lives in the US. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s two children are currently living in California with their parents and recently lived up to their American lifestyles by joining in celebrations to mark Independence Day in the US. Despite being across the Atlantic, four-year-old Archie and two-year-old Lilibet could soon be reunited with their UK family for the sweetest celebration.

Although no plans have been revealed as of yet, the King could have big celebrations planned for his 75th birthday in November, meaning a reunion with Archie and Lilibet could be on the cards.

In November 2018, for his 70th birthday, the then-Prince of Wales hosted a party at Buckingham Palace for the royals.

Having tied the knot earlier that year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in attendance.

Arriving in a separate car, Prince William and Kate also joined in the birthday celebrations.

With the King’s next milestone birthday falling later this year, the King may make a repeat celebration and invite all of his family members.

Despite tensions, Prince Harry witnessed his father being crowned in May. Meghan made the decision to remain in the US to look after Archie and Lilibet.

At the King’s Coronation, Prince Harry sat three rows behind his elder brother and sister-in-law.

His seat took pride of place next to his cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and their partners.

Just one year after their wedding, Harry and Meghan welcomed their first child, son Archie in 2019.

Less than a year after his birth, the couple made the decision to step down as senior working royals.

In June 2021, the couple welcomed their daughter Lilibet, who was affectionately named after the late Queen, in the US.

Both Archie and Lilibet joined their parents on a visit to the UK last June for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Although not seen publicly, the children are reported to have met some of their family members during the short trip.

During the visit, it was reported that the King had a “very emotional” first meeting with Lilibet, as well as a “special reunion” with Archie.
