Prince Andrew given 'royal pardon' as he joins King Charles and Queen Camilla at key event

Prince Andrew appears to be slowly welcomed back into the royal fold after he joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at an important engagement this week.

The 63-year-old was pictured on Thursday driving his car along the Long Walk where he welcomed the new Dean of Windsor with the King and Queen at Windsor Castle, the Sun reports.

Andrew was reportedly given a “royal pardon” and joined a reception at the Castle before the inauguration of Right Reverend Dr Christopher Cocksworth at St George’s Chapel.

He attended the the ceremony as a private individual and not in any royal role according to reports.

His appearance was reportedly kept out of the official Court Circular which is a public record of all royal jobs.

King Charles and his brother were in dispute over the summer as the monarch planned to have Andrew move out from the property and move into the much smaller Frogmore Cottage.

But Andrew rejected the offer and refused to leave Royal Lodge, which he still shares with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, despite divorcing 27 years ago.
