President Biden says Hamas committed hospital 'war crime' and vows to save three-year-old

President Joe Biden said Hamas committed a “war crime” by operating under a Gaza hospital during a press conference on Wednesday.

Speaking after his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in California earlier on Wednesday, Biden confirmed that Hamas’ “headquarters, their military” are under a hospital.

“But one thing has been established: It is that Hamas does have headquarters, weapons, material below this hospital, and I suspect others,” he explained.

Biden confessed he didn’t believe the Israel-Hamas war would end “until there’s a two-state solution” while answering questions from the press.

When asked about the three-year-old American hostage held by Hamas, Biden said: “I’m not going to stop until I get her.”

The White House had previously revealed that toddler Abigail Mor Idan is being held hostage in Gaza.

She was reportedly in her father’s arms when her and her mother were killed, and managed to crawl out from under his body before being kindapped.

Biden was also asked whether there would be a deadline on his support for Israel.

“I can’t tell you how long it’s going to last,” Biden said. “But I can tell you I don’t think it ultimately ends until there’s a two-state solution. I made it clear to the Israelis I think it’s a big mistake for them to think they’re going to occupy Gaza.”

At the start of the press conference, Biden spoke about his summit with Chinese leader Xi.

“We’re back to direct, open, clear, direct communications,” Biden said. “Vital miscalculations on either side can cause real, real trouble with a country like China or any other major country.”

He also discussed detained US citizens and revealed he provided Xi with a list of names.

“Hopefully we can get them released as well,” Biden exclaimed at the news conference. “No agreement on that.”

Biden claimed their talks were “some of the most constructive and productive discussions we’ve had.”

He also stated that the US and China are “restarting cooperation” to reduce the amount of fentanyl shipped directly from Xi’s country to his own.

“In the years since that time, the challenge has evolved from finished fentanyl to fentanyl chemical ingredients being transported”, Biden said.

“So today, with this new understanding, we’re taking action to significantly reduce the flow of precursor chemicals and pill presses from China to the Western Hemisphere. It’s going to save lives, and I appreciate President Xi’s commitment.”
