Police lock down city centre after stabbings in Surbiton – Locals warned to ‘stay away’


A man has been arrested for attempted murder after two people were stabbed in Surrey this afternoon. The attack took place in broad daylight at around 1:45pm. Surrey Police confirmed the arrest, which is believed to have been an “isolated incident”

They had earlier shut down the area, and urged the public to stay away until further notice.

One of the victims is believed to have been assaulted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Portsmouth Road.

The second victim was attacked at the BMW garage next door.
