Police hunt for man after horror homophobic attack in Clapham as investigation underway


An image has been released of a man police are looking to identify following a homophobic attack on two men outside a south London pub.

Two men standing outside the Two Brewers nightclub in Clapham were stabbed in the attack.

Detective Chief Inspector Jivan Saib from the Central South Command Unit leads the investigation and said: “I am asking the public to look at this image and see if they recognise this individual – it is vital that we identify and locate him as soon as possible.”

The stabbing took place at roughly 10.15pm on Sunday, August 13. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD 7198/13Aug. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
