Poland's terrifying warning EU 'far behind' as deadly Putin fears grow

Poland has issued a terrifying warning that the EU “far behind” in its preparations for a Russian attack.

Prime minister Donald Tusk said he believed the whole of Europe was a target for Russian aggression during a speech today, saying that it must ensure it has a stronger military than Vladimir Putin.

He said that the entire Russian economy has switched to a system of military rearmament while saying the EU was “far behind” in that area.

It comes after US intelligence officials found Russia had acquired ballistic missiles from North Korea to be used against Ukraine, while it is believed Putin is also hoping to get a supply of weapons from Iran.

Recently declassified intelligence found North Korea had provided Russia with ballistic missile launchers and several ballistic missiles, with at least one being fired into Ukraine on December 30 landing in an open field in the Zaporizhzhia region.

He also said he did not consider Ukraine to be an enemy of Russia – despite the ongoing “special military operation” that has ravaged swathes of the country.

Putin added: “Ukraine itself is not our enemy. Those who want to destroy Russian statehood and to achieve, as they say, a strategic defeat of Russia on the battlefield, are mainly in the West.”

He also accused the West of “nurturing the Kyiv regime for quite a long time” and blamed allies for creating the ongoing war.
