'Pack your bags!' Prince Harry to be 'thrown out' of US by Donald Trump if he lied on visa

Prince Harry’s US visa battle is “personal” for Donald Trump who will ensure the Duke of Sussex doesn’t receive “special treatment”, a former White House staffer has warned.

Peggy Grande, also Ronald Reagan’s former personal assistant, suggested the former president would send Prince Harry packing if it’s found he lied about taking drugs on his US visa application, which is typically a reason to reject an application.

She told Daily Express US: “If Prince Harry lied on his visa application, other people would get thrown out of the country for that, so [Trump] doesn’t think he should get any special treatment.”

Grande said Trump is “absolutely” a “real threat to Prince Harry” and it will be one of his top priorities to mend the UK and US’s ‘Special Relationship’ by getting to the bottom of the visa issue.

Currently, the Duke of Sussex is awaiting a judge’s verdict on whether his visa application should be made public, thereby finally determining whether or not he lied about his drug use. In his January 2023 memoir Spare, the prince admitted to past drug use.

Trump’s public dislike of Prince Harry comes from his “betrayal” of the late Queen, and this is what’s fuelling his desire to put an end to the visa battle, according to Grande.

It is also a way for the former president to mend the ‘Special Relationship between the UK and the US – by not letting the “betrayal” slide and ensuring Prince Harry does benefit from his royal title.

She said: “Trump loves the UK, he values the special relationship … he really had a fondness for her majesty the Queen and so this is personal to him.”

Trump’s “personal” mission to ensure Prince Harry’s visa application is made public could result in the Duke needing to pack his bags as he potentially faces deportation.

Grande added: “It was just one very public way for him to say, ‘We see what you’re doing, and it’s not okay … If I get back to the White House, you might need to pack your bags’.”

She slammed the “double standard” between Prince Harry and other people applying for a US visa who would see their applications thrown out if they lied or admitted to using drugs before entering the country.

Grande said “there’s two tiers of justice” and Donald Trump, if he takes the White House later this year, will ensure it does not benefit Prince Harry in his ongoing fight to stay in the US
