Only those with the sharpest eyesight can spot the wellington boot in 10 seconds

As the UK makes its way through August, there are signs the weather is beginning to turn.

The days are getting shorter, the temperatures are getting lower, and the weather is getting more inclement.

As a result, people are beginning to brace themselves for the wetter weather of autumn and winter thereafter.

Not everyone is dreading the change in conditions, however, as the damper conditions are a perfect time for the garden to flourish too.

To mark the mixed weather, garden tool suppliers SGS Engineering have created a brainteaser to test your observational skills. Your task is to find the wellington boot in under 10 seconds.

Did you spot the boot? No worries if not, the answer is above.

According to SGS, the average person takes around 70 seconds to find the boot, how long did you take?

Brainteasers such as this one are a great way to test the mind, push it to its limits, and exercise one of the most important muscles in the body.

The more the mind is exercised and kept healthy, the less like someone could be to develop a neurodegenerative disease such as dementia.

Dementia is one of the largest killers in the UK. According to statistics, just under a million people in the UK currently live with dementia while one in three born today will develop the disease in their lifetime.

The disease has a devastating impact not just on the patient, but on their families too who have to watch as their loved one slowly slips from view.

In recent years, progress has been made on treatments which can reportedly help slow the spread of the disease and slow a patient’s rate of deterioration.
