Only those with 20/20 vision can spot the golf balls in under 18 seconds

Brainteasers are a great way to test the mind and push one of the body’s most important muscles to its limits.

They can come in many forms and varieties. Some involve riddles, such as this one written by AI, whilst others involve maths equations or observational challenges.

This brainteaser by Golf Care is a form of observational brainteaser. Created ahead of the Ryder Cup, it tasks the user with trying to find the golf balls in among a square of Italian food.

Hidden behind the pizzas and other vegetables are five golf balls waiting to be found.

Your task is to try and find all of them in under 18 seconds.

Did you spot all the golf balls under the time limit? No worries if not, the answer is above.

This year the Ryder Cup is being hosted in Rome, Italy. Ahead of the tournament, which pits European and American golfers against each other, Irish star Rory McIlroy said he was looking forward to the competition.

Speaking to the Guardian ahead of the tournament, Mr McIlroy said: “You are in your little bubble for the week. No sponsor obligations; it’s commercial in terms of the platform but, for us, there is no being led around in any kind of show.

“You are in with the team and that is your little world. That is your family for the week. This is the purest form of the game. We don’t get paid a penny. It is the biggest platform that we have in golf, the biggest stage.

“The Ryder Cup, there is something different about it. There is something about wanting to do yourself justice but also playing for other people. You get so close with the guys during Ryder Cup weeks.

“And especially on the European side, there is a nice continuity there. “We have these experiences together and nobody can ever take them away from us. I have said this before but I am always going to be proudest of my accomplishments in the game as an individual but my most enjoyable moments, by far, are as part of the Ryder Cup team.”
